The Budapest Forró Festival is a three-day international gathering that celebrates forró, a cultural expression from the northeast of Brazil, bringing together live music performances, DJ parties, workshops, and lots of dancing on Margit-sziget, a green island in the middle of the Danube River. The festival is built as a space for cultural exchange, diversity, and freedom of expression.
